I am a volcano geodesist at the Carnegie Institution for Science Earth and Planets Laboratory based in Washington DC. The main questions driving my research are: how is magma stored and transported in the crust until it erupts? What are the precursors to volcanic eruptions and how can we interpret volcanic unrest in terms of magma dynamics? I use InSAR, GPS, gravity data, and numerical modeling to study dynamic processes taking place at active volcanoes – subaerial and submarine ones. Take a look at my past and current research projects!

I am always happy to start new collaborations. Please contact me if you are interested in working together or planning to apply to the Carnegie Postdoctoral Fellowship.
