Magma injection models to explain surface uplift

I developed analytical and numerical models of viscous magma propagation through a conduit into a magma-filled reservoir. I applied this injection model to InSAR data from the ongoing unrest episode at Laguna del Maule volcanic field in Chile that started in 2007. Increasing the conduit inlet pressure and volumetric flow rate reproduces the measured accelerating uplift.
